The organisation delivers standardised, end-to-end technology solutions spanning datacentre infrastructure, enterprise IT, and managed services to SMB and mid-market clients. As part of its continued commercial expansion in Singapore, it is seeking a high-calibre IT Sales & Business Development Manager to lead new business growth and deepen its client network across the SMB segment.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, high-ownership commercial role suited to a proven IT sales professional who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. You will be the primary point of contact for prospects and clients - responsible for managing the full sales cycle and demonstrating how the company's technology solutions deliver tangible business impact.
What You Will Do
- Drive new business development with a primary focus on SMB accounts and secondary coverage of mid-market enterprises across Singapore
- Manage the full end-to-end sales cycle - from prospecting and pipeline building through to commercial proposal, negotiation, and close
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans across the company's IT product and solutions portfolio
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients to grow recurring revenue and expand account footprint
- Organise and lead sales campaigns, marketing events, and client presentations
- Conduct market and competitor intelligence to identify emerging opportunities
- Achieve and forecast against agreed sales targets
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of direct IT sales experience with a consistent track record of closing new business
- Demonstrated success selling to SMB clients across the full sales cycle - this is the core requirement for this role
- Experience within a System Integrator (SI) and/or Managed Services environment, with exposure to complex IT solutions such as datacentre infrastructure or enterprise IT technologies
- An established network within the SMB and mid-market corporate space in Singapore will be a strong advantage
- Strong communication skills - able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders confidently
- Client-oriented with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting
