- Lead end-to-end IT project delivery, ensuring alignment with defined scope, budget, and timelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to align project goals and objectives.
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, training, documentation, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure adherence to established delivery frameworks, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Track project progress, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation plans as needed.
- Deliver clear, accurate, and timely status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Manage vendor engagements, ensuring accountability, high-quality deliverables, and effective contract negotiations.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to project managers, promoting a high-performance and collaborative delivery culture.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in IT project management within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks, as well as Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams with strong leadership and stakeholder influence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive alignment.
- Solid experience in vendor management, including negotiation and delivery oversight.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are highly advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a matrix organization while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and sound decision-making capability.
