Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables and adept at running agile squads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
- Communicate project expectations clearly and consistently to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for resource planning and acquisition. Set and manage project expectations across all stakeholders. Identify and mitigate project-level risks and issues.
- Manage dependencies across mobile UX, backend services, and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, identity verification).
- Track milestones and deliverables using appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and presentations tailored to executive audiences.
- Ensure adherence to IT governance, data privacy, and compliance standards, especially those relevant to insurance and financial services.
- Align project delivery with business readiness and transformation goals.
- Prepare documentation for funding approvals and cost estimates.
- Monitor financials and ensure quality delivery across all mobile app workstreams.
- Lead cross-functional teams including mobile developers, architects, QA engineers, and vendor partners.
- Evaluate alternative solutions to meet project goals.
- Coordinate the delivery of AI features by working closely with data scientists and AI engineers to ensure business requirements are translated into actionable models and features.
- Facilitate discussions on use cases for Generative AI (e.g., chatbot assistants, content generation) and ML (e.g., recommendation engines, risk scoring).
- Ensure AI features are integrated responsibly, with attention to explainability, fairness, and compliance.
- Track AI model performance and ensure alignment with business KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, data privacy, and procurement policies.
- Collaborate with IT risk, security, infrastructure, legal, and finance teams.
- Coordinate with departments such as Planning, Finance, Marketing, and IT Operations.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
Skills/Requirement
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years in IT project management, with at least 5 years in mobile application delivery.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience in insurance or financial services domain preferred.
- Familiarity with mobile development frameworks, app store deployment processes, and analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel).
- Exposure to AI/ML project delivery or collaboration with data science teams is a plus.
