IT Project Manager- Day 1

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager with strong experience in End-User Computing Device (EUCD) migration to lead Day 1 project implementations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys stakeholder engagement, and can confidently manage complex migrations end to end.

Our client is a leading Technology solutions provider with strong presence across the region. They are looking to hire an IT Project Manager. You will play a key role in overseeing device migration activities, establishing governance frameworks, and ensuring smooth execution with minimal disruption to end users.

• Lead and oversee end-to-end EUCD migration activities from planning through execution

• Act as the primary point of contact for the migration team and stakeholders

• Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, schedules, and resource allocation

• Ensure minimal disruption to end users and adherence to project timelines

• Manage engineer assignments, training plans, and team performance

• Track and monitor migration progress against defined success criteria

• Collaborate with technical, IT, and infrastructure teams on tools, dependencies, and risks

• Liaise with external agencies, vendors, and partners to coordinate migration arrangements

• Serve as the main escalation point for migration-related issues

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and manage feedback for continuous improvement

• Prepare migration status reports, dashboards, and presentation materials

• Maintain centralized documentation, action trackers, and governance records

• Deliver post-migration reports highlighting outcomes, challenges, and lessons learned

• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements and standardization

• Conduct post-migration reviews and promote best practices

• Mentor junior team members and support continuous learning initiatives

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or project management within IT or migration projects

• Proven experience in Day 1 project implementations

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools

• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities
