Responsibilities
- Establish project goals and business cases with Strategic Business and IT management.
- Plan, manage, and oversee scope, timeline, resources, and budget for large-scale, global projects.
- Coordinate interrelated IT project activities within resource constraints and changing priorities.
- Drive all aspects of program and project management, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure.
- Assess and manage changes to scope, issues, and risks, working with senior management to resolve them.
- Measure project performance against the original plan and budget.
- Lead project teams in developing and delivering program plans, ensuring resources are obtained and activities are performed.
- Communicate project progress through reports, providing timely and accurate status updates and decision support information.
- Coordinate resources to address program and business needs through proactive priority management.
- Lead workshops to gather requirements and create visual process flows.
- Participate in pre-program activities and provide demos/proposals to clients.
- Lead project meetings and act as an escalation point for risks and issues.
- Bridge the gap between technical and functional teams to drive successful implementations.
- Travel approximately 10% of the time for project needs, including some international travel.
- Manage, motivate, and mentor cross-functional and enterprise project teams.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures, including information security and IT controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7-10 years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development, deployment, or operations,
- A minimum of 5 years managing business application project delivery at a global or multi-national scale.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into a scalable solution design.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously workload will be a blend of small, medium, and large implementation projects
Preferred
The IT Program Manager should have advanced expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- VEEVA CRM and VEEVA CRM Vault, with an emphasis on Healthcare Solutions
- Salesforce CRM, with an emphasis on Healthcare or Life Sciences Solutions
They should also have broad expertise in:
- Integration solutions
- Global Data Warehouse solutions
- Master Data Management (MDM) solutions
Experience with the following areas would be advantageous:
- IQVIA software, used to accelerate innovation in healthcare, improve patient outcomes, and drive smarter healthcare solutions globally.
- Accurytics software, specializing in advanced analytics for the healthcare sector, helping organizations become analytics-driven by leveraging data to gain meaningful insights and competitive advantages.
