Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement of technology products and services, including P2P processes, vendor onboarding, and contract negotiations. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver efficient and cost-effective procurement solutions
Mandatory Skill-set
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or any relevant studies;
- Must have experience in end-to-end P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes and procurement lifecycle management;
- Expertise in vendor management, onboarding, and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM);
- Solid contract management and commercial negotiation skills;
- Candidate must have understanding of IT infrastructure, data centres, software licensing models, and technology services;
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards (e.g., MAS, DORA).
Desired Skill-set
- Preferred certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) with experience in tools like SAP, ServiceNow, or DocuSign;
- Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements in banking and exposure to IT procurement categories such as infrastructure, hardware, and software services.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle including sourcing, RFP/RFQ, negotiation, contracting, and payment processes;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business and technology objectives;
- Handle vendor onboarding, due diligence, and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes in compliance with regulations;
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLAs to achieve cost efficiency and business value;
- Monitor vendor performance, manage relationships, and resolve any service or compliance issues;
- Maintain procurement documentation, ensure audit readiness, and adhere to regulatory and internal policy requirements.
