Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate technology vendors through RFP/RFQ processes to meet business and IT requirements
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLAs to secure optimal commercial and service outcomes
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define procurement needs and align with organisational goals
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle from requisition, delivery, payment matching to vendor performance review
- Maintain procurement documentation and conduct market research to identify technology and cost-saving opportunities
- Build and manage relationships with key suppliers, monitoring performance against contractual obligations and SLAs
- Oversee contract governance, vendor onboarding, and third-party risk management in compliance with regulatory and internal policies
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, IT, or a related discipline
- At least 4-6 years of procurement experience, ideally within banking or regulated industries
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., MAS, DORA)
- Experience in P2P processes, contract management, and vendor relationship management
- Understanding of IT procurement including infrastructure, data centres, software licensing, and technology services
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Familiarity with procurement tools (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow, DocuSign), risk management processes, and project management practices
