DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES
Contracts & Vendor Management
- Review, negotiate, and manage IT contracts (hardware, software, outsourcing).
- Handle Statements of Work (SOW) and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Engage and manage vendors with regional presence to support IT procurement needs across multiple markets, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to monitor vendor KPIs and performance.
Procurement & PTP Cycle
- Own the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process for IT purchases, including retail store IT needs.
- Maintain systematic documentation of procurement workflows and processes.
- Input and track procurement data in ERP systems; maintain trackers and reports.
- Work towards becoming the go-to expert for IT procurement processes and governance.
Financial Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of IT-related expenditures across group and business units.
- Provide timely updates and reports to assist in budget planning and forecasting.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for IT purchases and subscriptions to support decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity in procurement systems and trackers for financial transparency.
Subscription & Billing
- Manage subscription renewals and billing cycles.
- Negotiate terms and identify opportunities for cost savings and business efficiencies.
- Stay aligned with business changes to anticipate IT needs proactively.
Governance & Process Improvement
- Enforce compliance and governance in procurement and IT operations.
- Refine processes for efficiency and maintain high availability of IT services.
- Build and share knowledge of technical specifications for contracting and subscription purposes.
- Ensure SLA adherence and resource availability through contracts or alternative arrangements.
Preferred Additional Responsibilities
- IT inventory and asset management.
- Process service requests and escalate to appropriate vendors or internal teams.
- Coordinate vendor arrangements for end-user support.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of IT procurement and PTP processes.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to document processes and maintain compliance.
- Analytical skills for cost-benefit analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with IT hardware/software specifications.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks.
- Regional sourcing experience.
