We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Transformation Leader to join our team, based in Singapore, to lead transformation initiatives across Group IT. This role is responsible for driving Group IT-wide change management, establishing governance framework for software delivery and quality assurance, and supporting strategic programme that covers Operations, Technology and Finance.
Change Management & Communications
- Define and drive division-wide change management strategy, ensuring strong employee engagement and adoption of transformation program
- Lead the design and execution of communication campaign to promote Technology achievements, updates and success stories
- Support our transformation initiatives by providing practical support for change readiness, embedding change mindset across the division to drive new ways of measuring impact
SDLC & Quality Assurance Governance
- Work with engineering teams and programme portfolio leads to define and establish clear SDLC framework to drive outcomes that lead to high-quality and reliable software development. This includes establishing critical SDLC stages, common artefacts and documentation to meet regulatory and audit requirements
- Integrate agile and DevOps practices into SDLC while maintaining appropriate controls (approvals, segregation of duties, production access)
- Work with engineering teams to drive adoption of SDLC standards through playbook, tooling standards, and capability building across all technology teams
- Define and oversee the Technology QA strategy, minimum testing standards and exit criteria across all SDLC stages (function, non-functional and regulatory testing)
- Work with engineering teams to embed quality-by-design and AI across both SDLC and QA processes to improve quality and drive continuous improvement in delivery practices
- Work with Change and Incident Management teams to ensure measurable improvement in production stability, defect leakage, and time-to-market through test automation (i.e. productivity uplift) and continuous quality practices
Strategic Progamme Support
- Support the Programme Sponsor and Programme Executive as the main transformation liaison across Operations, Technology and Finance
- Partner with Group and local teams across Finance, HR, Risk, Legal and other functions to integrate planning, resourcing, risk management and reporting
- Ensure effective transition management, stakeholder engagement, and deliver measurable business impact
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on programme status, risks and outcomes
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards and presentations for key stakeholders
- Act as liaison between functional teams in SG and in MY, to facilitate communication and collaboration
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Support the Head of Transformation Office to mentor, grow the team, and evolving the team from governance-centric to drive meaningful and visible business impact
- Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and pro-actively partnership of direct stakeholders
- Build and sustain trusted partnerships with senior IT, Business, Risk, Compliance and Operations leadership to shape the change agenda, align on transformation outcomes, and jointly remove blockers for adoption
We are looking for people who has:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Technology leadership, digital transformation, or enterprise program management within insurance or financial services
- Proven experience leading large-scale operations/process transformation initiatives and governance framework (SDLC, QA, CoE setup)
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and organisational communications
- Certification and strong knowledge of project management (e.g. PMP, Agile, PRINCE2), and portfolio management (e.g. PMP, P3O)
- Prior experience in financial services and in working with regulators such as MAS and BNM
- Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams, manage stakeholders at senior levels, and influence strategy direction
- Strong team player with attention to detail, resilience under pressure and an adaptable and resourceful mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable engaging across C-suites and divisional leadership levels
