Our client is a well-established public sector organisation in Singapore with a strong focus towards project excellence and governance. The organisation is looking to hire an IT Project Portfolio & Governance Lead to ensure secure and compliant operations while enabling the delivery of impactful projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive and govern the organisation's IT Project Portfolio Management (PPM) framework, ensuring project initiatives are aligned with strategic business objectives and priorities.
- Establish, enhance, and standardise project management methodologies, governance processes, and delivery frameworks across both waterfall and agile environments.
- Monitor portfolio health, project performance, resource utilisation, and delivery outcomes, providing insightful reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Partner closely with project teams and business stakeholders to provide governance guidance, improve delivery standards, and drive consistency in project execution.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives through KPI tracking, post-project reviews, lessons learnt, and the optimisation of project governance practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with experience in IT governance, PMO, project portfolio management, or project delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of project governance frameworks, project delivery methodologies, and portfolio management practices across agile and waterfall environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power Automate, and reporting/analytics platforms such as Power BI.
- Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or related governance/project management certifications will be advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage priorities effectively.
