IT Operations Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage and run deployment activities on production systems
• Monitor system performance and check for issues to avoid downtime
• Support deployment of system updates and changes to production environment
• Follow proper change management and approval steps before deployment
• Handle and resolve technical issues during or after deployment within SLA timelines
• Keep proper records and documentation for all deployment activities
• Follow government IT security policies and data protection guidelines
• Work closely with vendors, government agencies, and internal teams
• Support audits and security checks when needed

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT operations or deployment, preferably within a public sector or government linked environment
• No coding required, but technical understanding of systems is needed
• Understanding of government IT security frameworks (e.g. IM8 guidelines) is an advantage
• Good problem solving skills and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and able to work well with government stakeholders
