THE JOB:
Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of network equipment, including the management, debugging, inspection and patrol of network equipment and network security equipment, log backup, fault diagnosis and security auditing, as well as formulating operation and maintenance plans, strategies and emergency manuals. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of IT equipment, solving terminal problems and reducing office disruptions. By conducting monitoring, maintenance, fault handling, security compliance and optimization of information systems, build a reliable office information environment.
Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full-cycle operation and maintenance management of office-area network equipment (including core switches, wireless networks, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and switches), performing daily inspections and status recording.
- Responsible for configuration work and policy debugging of network equipment in the office area.
- Regularly back up network equipment operation logs to ensure log integrity and traceability, facilitating later audits and issue investigation.
- Troubleshoot network faults, identify root causes, and implement timely repairs to maintain continuous and stable network operations.
- Conduct audits of network security incidents, analyze abnormal activities and potential risks, and prepare corresponding audit reports.
- Develop network security operation and maintenance plans, process strategies, and emergency manuals to standardize operations and risk-response procedures.
- Provide operation and maintenance support for IT office equipment (computers, printers, etc.) and software, and respond to equipment failure requests.
- Quickly resolve employees office terminal issues (such as software errors, system freezes, and hardware faults) to minimize downtime.
- Monitor the operational status of information systems (servers, databases, etc.), tracking performance indicators and service availability.
- Handle information system failures, take technical measures to restore normal operation, and summarize failure causes to prevent recurrence.
- Implement information system security compliance requirements, assist with vulnerability fixes and security hardening, and optimize system performance to improve operational efficiency.
Education/Experience Requirements/ Certification:
Bachelor degree or above, major in computer science, information technology, electronic engineering or network security
Certification Requirements:
- Required: CCNA (Network Basics)
- Preferred: CCIE, ITIL 4 Foundation (process specification)
Experience requirements: At least 5 years of IT operation and maintenance work experience, ideally in heavy industries.
