Company Overview

We are a Singapore-based subsidiary of a leading Chinese state-owned financial futures brokerage firm, regulated by MAS. We provide futures and derivatives brokerage services across major global exchanges including SGX.

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to oversee our trading infrastructure, cybersecurity framework, and SGX connectivity environment.

Job Description

Responsible for managing the company's IT infrastructure, trading connectivity, and system security in a regulated financial environment. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical expertise and strong stakeholder coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure including servers, network, endpoints, and system architecture.

  • Ensure high availability and stability of trading systems and SGX connectivity (WAN, VPN, co-location).

  • Oversee client trading access setup, conformance testing, and go-live support.

  • Monitor system performance, cybersecurity controls, patch management, and backups.

  • Enforce user access controls and manage incident response procedures.

  • Support regulatory audits and maintain IT documentation in line with MAS TRM guidelines.

  • Liaise with SGX, IT vendors, and service providers on system issues and upgrades.

  • Coordinate with Headquarters on cross-border system integration, IT policies, and project implementation.

  • Provide technical support to internal users and maintain IT asset inventory.

  • Manage IT budget including system licenses and co-location charges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in financial institutions (brokerage, trading firm, or bank).

  • Experience supporting trading systems and exchange connectivity preferred.

  • Familiarity with SGX connectivity or co-location environment is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, system administration, and cybersecurity controls.

  • Experience supporting regulatory audits in financial services environment.

  • Ability to work independently in a hands-on IT role.

Language Requirement

Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required, as the role involves regular coordination with Headquarters and communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and clients.
