IT Manager

A MNC company is hiring for an IT Manager to support its growing Asia Pacific operations.

This role sits within the Asia Regional ICT Hub, collaborating closely with HQ in Japan to deliver IT governance, security, training, and audit support across the region.

The IT Manager will serve as the key person-in-charge for IT End-User Support, Network Operations, and Information Security, providing direct support to the Singapore office and co-supporting multiple group companies across Asia Pacific. The role also acts as Information Security Lead, supporting cybersecurity initiatives and compliance activities.

Team Management experience is not required for this role.

Reporting to: ICT General Manager (Total 4 person in IT team)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 end-user IT support, including onboarding/offboarding, incident management, asset management, and user training

• Manage IT service levels, vendors, audits, and documentation

• Oversee office and regional network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, Wi-Fi)

• Monitor, maintain, and enhance network performance and security

• Lead and support information security initiatives, risk assessments, training, and incident response

• Collaborate with HQ and regional stakeholders to ensure compliance with group IT and security standards

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in end-user support, network administration, and basic security operations

• Experience working in Japanese companies will be an added advantage

• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows, iOS, networking technologies, and security practices

• Experience working in regional or global IT environments is an advantage

• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer-service mindset
