This transition marks the evolution of the application team into a centralized Center of Excellence (COE). Under this new structure, the COE Leader will report directly to the CIO, a strategic move that elevates the team's organizational impact and places a powerhouse of application expertise directly at the leadership table.

about the job

Ensure the 24/7 reliability, security, and evolution of critical, diverse enterprise applications across two major business units pillars.
Transition the current setup into a high-performing Application COE, establishing governance, standardization, and application roadmaps across all plants and corporate entities.
Own end-to-end application operations, ensuring strict SLA compliance, robust incident management, and seamless system upgrades.
Act as the trusted IT advisor to business units : translating operational pain points into tech strategies, balancing budgets, and managing key vendor relationships (SaaS providers and system integrators).
Drive application rationalization to eliminate technical debt, while keeping a pulse on emerging tech (like AI) to introduce automation and operational efficiencies.

skills and experience required
The ideal candidate brings at least 10 years of IT leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing diverse enterprise applications.

They possess a solid, end-to-end understanding of ITSM processes, backed by strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
