About the Role

The IT Manager / Senior Executive is responsible for providing day-to-day IT operational support across the organisation's property management operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure. The role oversees the implementation and maintenance of property management systems, manages IT assets, and supports digital initiatives that enhance operational efficiency within retail and commercial properties.

Main Responsibilities

IT Operations & Technical Support

  • Provide support for day-to-day IT related enquiries and system management
  • Liaise with outsourced vendor for more complex issues

Property Management Systems Implementation

  • Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of property management systems
  • Coordinate with system vendors and internal stakeholders during system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting
  • Conduct user testing, system documentation, and user training to ensure smooth adoption of systems
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimise operational efficiency

IT Infrastructure & Network Management

  • Assist in managing the organisation's IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and connectivity across properties
  • Support maintenance of network equipment such as switches, firewalls, access points, and structured cabling
  • Monitor system performance, backups, and system security to ensure operational continuity
  • Coordinate with external IT service providers when necessary

IT Asset Management, Security & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT hardware and software assets
  • Manage procurement, deployment, tracking, and lifecycle replacement of IT equipment
  • Ensure proper documentation of IT assets including warranties, licenses, and maintenance contracts
  • Implement and maintain IT security policies, access controls, and system monitoring practices
  • Ensure antivirus, patching, and system updates are properly maintained
  • Support data backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT governance policies

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in property management, real estate, or multi-site operations
  • Exposure to systems such as lease management systems, building management systems (BMS), or tenant management platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environment
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications and property management systems
  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi)
  • Familiarity with IT asset management and IT service management practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and service-focused mindset
