Summary of Role
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, while ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the organisation's IT systems and infrastructure. This role manages software, network, and cybersecurity initiatives, coordinates with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with business requirements.
What You'll Do:
Manage IT Projects
- Lead and outsource IT functions across cloud-based infrastructure, software-as-a-service, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and alignment with organisational objectives.
Coordinate Project Delivery
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define project requirements, manage outsourced services, establish implementation schedules, monitor progress, and ensure successful delivery of project outcomes.
Oversee IT Operations and Resources
- Plan and oversee outsourced IT operations, managing project timelines, and ensuring adherence to approved budgets, scope, and service standards.
Manage Risks and Quality
- ldentify project and operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure appropriate controls are in place to maintain quality, reliability, and compliance with organisational standards.
Serve as a Key Point of Contact
- Act as the main liaison between the company, stakeholders, and service providers on IT matters, providing clear communication on project status, issues, risks, and operational needs.
Support Cybersecurity and Resilence
- Apply knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and related technologies to secure vendor services for cybersecurity implementation.
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in IT project management and/or IT operations
- Experience managing software, network, infrastructure, or cybersecurity-related projects.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and vendors in a structured and effective manner.
- Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, resource management, and risk mitigation.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and practices to support secure and resilient IT delivery,
