Our client is looking for an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and security across a growing regional platform. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance technical depth with strong stakeholder engagement — you'll be the one charting the technology direction with the IT Director and holding vendors accountable, not executing tickets yourself.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the enterprise IT architecture and technology roadmap, ensuring solutions align with business and security needs
- Manage core infrastructure — servers, virtualization, storage, backup, networking, and end-user computing
- Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 and Azure environments (identity, security, governance, backup/recovery)
- Lead cybersecurity governance, incident response, vulnerability management, and security awareness programs
- Own business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including regular testing
- Oversee helpdesk and end-user support delivered through outsourced vendors — ensuring SLAs and service quality, not a hands-on support role
- Oversee physical security and access control systems (e.g. door/access management) in coordination with relevant vendors
- Manage and hold accountable external vendors — MSPs, SOC providers, cloud and cybersecurity partners — including contract negotiation and performance reviews
- Lead technology transformation projects: cloud migration, ERP, and AI/automation initiatives
- Manage IT budgets, licensing, and cost optimization
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field
- 8–10 years experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity, including 5+ years managing enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Track record managing outsourced IT operations (MSPs, SOC, helpdesk vendors) and leading vendor negotiations
- Experience leading technology transformation or migration projects
- Comfortable operating independently in a leaner, more hands-on setup rather than a large enterprise IT function — a proactive, independent problem-solver
- Strong communication and presentation skills — this role involves presenting business cases to senior leadership and running internal IT training
- Experience supporting multiple business units or entities under a centralized IT model is a plus
- Relevant certifications (Azure, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ITIL, PMP, or similar) are a plus, not mandatory
