Overview
We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to drive business analysis strategy and delivery across complex, large-scale programmes. This is a leadership role where you will shape solution outcomes, elevate analysis standards, and ensure alignment between business intent and system delivery.
Partnering closely with Business Architects, Product Managers, and Solution Architects, you will translate strategic objectives into actionable requirements while leading a high-performing BA team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
- Establish best practices, frameworks, and governance for business analysis
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Strategic Analysis & Solutioning
- Oversee end-to-end requirements lifecycle across multiple projects
- Ensure clear translation of business needs into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications
- Align business requirements with solution architecture and implementation
Programme Delivery
- Plan and manage business analysis activities across project phases
- Partner with Product Owners and Project Managers to manage scope, priorities, and dependencies
- Ensure on-time, in-scope delivery across programmes
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead UAT strategy, execution, and validation processes
- Define acceptance criteria and quality benchmarks
- Ensure delivered solutions meet intended business outcomes
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including government clients
- Facilitate workshops, drive decision-making, and manage expectations
- Act as the key bridge between business and technical teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in large-scale or government environments
- Proven track record in leading BA teams and driving delivery across programmes
- Strong expertise in requirements management, process modelling (e.g., BPMN), and Agile methodologies
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
