About the Role
We are seeking motivated IT Network and System Engineers to join our growing team in supporting external client infrastructures.
You will play a key role in the deployment, configuration, and support of enterprise network and system environments across diverse customer projects.
This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in network/system engineering and an interest or working knowledge in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network and server infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, servers).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues.
- Manage and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Administer Windows and/or Linux-based servers and Active Directory environments.
- Apply basic cybersecurity measures, including OS hardening, network hardening, and baseline security controls.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching of client systems to enhance security and performance.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions according to client SLAs and compliance needs.
- Participate in system integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (e.g., network diagrams, system configurations, implementation guides).
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in software, networking, or cyber solutions.
- Strong understanding of network and system fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewalls, OS administration).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles such as system hardening and patch management.
- Hands-on experience with secure network design, server administration, and security hardening.
- Knowledge of IDS/IPS solutions will be an advantage.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
