About the Role - Provide IT helpdesk support for day-to-day IT operations including logging and tracking of user IT issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support network equipment like Fortinet Firewall, Cisco Switches and Routers, Corporate Wifi and voice and data network cabling.
- Support Windows desktop and administer Microsoft Windows server and active directory.
- Perform setup and troubleshooting of issues for Desktop PCs, notebooks, mobile devices (IOS or Android Devices) and Telephone system.
- Familiar with data and IT security and administration of Anti-virus software, VPNs, IT security policies and providing training to end-users on IT security awareness.
- Familiar with storage and backups with NAS, File Server, Desktops, Tape and Off-site backups.
- Knowledge and skillset in preparing IT documentations, visual presentation and diagrams.
- Provide IT security awareness and IT training on onboarding of new users in Singapore and overseas offices.
- Evaluate and test IT software and hardware that support the business.
- Maintain and update all IT related inventories, IT hardware and software purchasing.
- Provide IT problem resolution, provide updates, follow-ups and communication to users.
- To assist IT infrastructure projects or activities (such as upgrades, changes, maintenance and relocation).
- Provides IT support to Singapore Downstream and Corporate Offices, Affiliated companies, joint ventures and IT remote support for overseas branch offices.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (Fortinet Firewall, Cisco Switches and Routers, Corporate Wifi, and VOIP Telephony systems, etc.).
- Experience with Windows server administration and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with data and IT security, EDR software, VPNs, IT security policies.
- Experience with support and administer IT infrastructure including storage (NAS, File Servers), backups (tape, off-site), and telephone systems.
