Responsibility
To designs, implements, maintains, and troubleshoots a company's physical and digital computing systems, including servers, networks, and cloud services, to ensure they run efficiently, securely, and remain available.
- Design & Implementation:Architects and deploys new infrastructure components, such as servers, networks (including firewalls, routers, and switches), and cloud services.
- Maintenance & Operations:Manages the day-to-day administration and optimal functioning of existing systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Troubleshooting & Support:Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves issues to prevent disruptions and ensure smooth operations.
- Security Management:Implements and maintains security protocols, firewalls, and other security measures to protect against breaches and ensure compliance.
- Monitoring & Performance:Monitors system health, performance, and resource utilization, using various tools to identify potential problems and optimize efficiency.
- Cloud & Hybrid Environments:Manages and integrates on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) within hybrid environments.
- Documentation & Change Management:Documents infrastructure configurations, processes, and changes, and implements change management procedures to control and track modifications.
- Collaboration & Vendor Management:Works with cross-functional teams, internal customers, and third-party vendors to implement solutions and ensure service delivery.
Requirement
- Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of operating systems, servers, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing), storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Security:Understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and cyber security best practices.
- Automation:Ability to use scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate routine tasks and streamline processes.
- Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication:Excellent communication skills for reporting, documentation, and collaborating with other departments and leadership.
- Experience:Minimum 4 years experience in computer-related industry
