The Infrastructure Manager will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration with software and security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure infrastructure architectures, including cloud, on-premises, hybrid deployments, and zero-trust frameworks (network segmentation, IAM, secrets management)
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design specifications
- Analyse change requests and recommend architecture adjustments
- Enforce architecture standards and lead capacity planning for optimal system performance and scalability
- Conduct performance tuning for high-availability and mission-critical systems
- Manage third-party vendors, procurement, and integration processes
- Facilitate technical discussions and communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to design future-ready solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, or at least 2 years experience delivering large-scale government or high-security projects

- Solid understanding of Cloud-Native technologies, Kubernetes, and secure secrets management (e.g., KMS encryption at rest)
- Knowledge of IT risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, security protocols, and cryptography
- Strong ability to prepare detailed technical documentation, including network architectures, data flow diagrams, and security control mappings
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to varied stakeholders
- Security experience or background is highly advantageous
- CISSP certification preferred but not mandatory
