IT Infrastructure Manager
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the end-to-end design, stability, security, and continuous improvement of the organisation's IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
This role covers Azure cloud, Microsoft platforms, enterprise networking, cybersecurity, End-User Computing (EUC), and infrastructure lifecycle management, providing regional infrastructure leadership across Singapore, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. The role ensures infrastructure scalability, standardisation, resilience, and operational excellence to support regional business growth and digital transformation initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, operate, and optimise enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
- Own Azure architecture, governance, security controls, subscription management, and cost optimisation.
- Lead infrastructure modernisation initiatives, including cloud adoption, system upgrades, and legacy platform decommissioning.
- Ensure high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity readiness across regional systems.
- Manage Microsoft platforms, including Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams), Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and related services.
- Govern identity and access management, including conditional access, privileged access, and security controls.
- Define and execute EUC strategy, covering endpoint standards, security, patching, compliance, and lifecycle management.
- Design and manage enterprise networking and security, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, and secure regional connectivity.
- Plan and execute technology refresh and lifecycle management, proactively managing obsolescence, capacity, and vendor warranties.
- Provide regional infrastructure leadership, including vendor and managed service provider management, team guidance, and contribution to IT roadmaps, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7-8 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft and Azure environments, including cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and governance.
- Proven experience managing Microsoft 365, identity management, endpoint management, and EUC environments.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise networking and infrastructure security.
- Experience supporting regional or multi-country IT environments, preferably within Asia.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors, managed service providers, and cloud partners.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to balance hands-on execution and strategic oversight.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required, as the role involves regular communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders in the region.
