Position: IT Infrastructure Engineer (System Administration)

Responsibilities:

The scope of IT Infrastructure Engineer (System Administration) shall include the following:

. Working with a system infrastructure team

. Responsible for the operations, support, maintenance, research and development to ensure continual innovation of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system

. Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for on-premise environment and on Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC)

. Participation in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure

. Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners and

. Accountable for the following systems: o Red Hat Linux and Windows o Middleware includes WebSphere Application Servers, WebSphere Message Queue.

Qualifications & Requirements:

. Recognised degree with a technical major such as engineering, data communications or computer science. Diploma holders with relevant experience and expertise will be considered

. System Engineer certification in Red Hat Linux and/or Microsoft including Cloud

. Minimum 3 years system administration experience

. Good written and verbal communication skills

. Strong technical troubleshooting skills

. Able to work well both independently as well as in a team

. Knowledge and experience in Red Hat Linux scripting and

. The skills for the following will be considered as an advantage: o AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GCC o Terraform and Ansible o Gitlab
