IT infrastructure engineer

Salary: Up to SGD 6000 (Depending on overall skills and experience)

Location: Tuas / Jurong

Job Description

1. Responsible for Tech infrastructure, including hardware, software and networks for manufacturing sites.

2. Support and deliver Tech solution and project e.g. network/wireless upgrade, server deployment etc.

3. Ensure computer room, network devices, servers, all backend infrastructure are monitored and maintained in optimal health.

4. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.

5. Ensure Tech infrastructure projects and activities are delivered in compliance with DTMS (Digital & Tech Management System) process.

6. Tech infrastructure support across GSK sites/offices within Singapore.

7. Liaising with Tech teams within and above site to ensure systems, services and initiatives are deployed effectively to the site.

Qualifications / Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology.

2. Minimum 3 years experience in systems and network design, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.

3. Good working knowledge of IT / OT architecture, networking, switching and routing (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wireless and Firewalls).

4. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and VoIP.

5. Experience in Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Panaroma, Nutanix, Azure Stack and Cloud technology.

6. Experience in computer room operation, maintenance and monitoring.

7. Familiar with network structured cabling and fibre optic connectivity.

8. Able to multi-tasks and work in a fast-paced environment in response to ad-hoc demand or incident.

9. Good team player in collaboration with various support team in troubleshooting complex network issue.

10. Good analytical skill in resolving complex network, hardware and software issue.

11. Good communication skills (technical writing and verbal communication/presentation).

12. Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skill with users from different hierarchical levels and functional areas.

13. Able to work independently, resourceful, willing to learn new skills, with good initiatives.

Additional Qualifications / Requirements

1. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to plan own work to meet objectives, and to work independently.

2. Preferably have knowledge and understanding of ITMS and GMP pharmaceutical production.

3. Any industry certification on network, cybersecurity or cloud e.g. CCNA, CISSP will be added advantage.
