Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade servers, networks, and related hardware and software
- Perform IT asset management and maintain accurate, up-to-date asset records
- Conduct day-to-day infrastructure health checks and security monitoring
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and network-related issues and provide timely resolutions
- Perform change management activities, ensuring all changes are properly tracked and documented
- Respond to service requests and incidents in accordance with defined SLAs
- Coordinate with external service providers and vendors to ensure service levels are met
- Automate routine operational tasks using basic scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and high-level programming languages (e.g. Python, Perl)
- Support the provisioning and delivery of IT infrastructure projects and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse logs and trace issues methodically
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement
