Job Description

This is a 24 months contract assigned to our client

Work Location: Chai Chee (Bedok Area) /Go to multiple site

Salary Range : $5,000-$7,000

Job Description

1) Test and commissioning of network equipment for production environment

2) Design, configure and review the network configuration with the contractors

3) Perform full Disaster Recovery (DR) swing test on the system and network

4) Configure and manage firewall, routers, switches and wireless access points

5) Design and segregate the voice and data VLANs which integrate to the backend system

6) Configure the network monitoring system to enable it to be monitored with statistical data

and provide alerts when the equipment is down

7) Set up and integrate the network from front end devices to communicate to the backend system such

as Payment System

8) Support and troubleshoot on network issues that occur during implementaton and daily operation

9) Configure network security hardening for all network equipment based on the Authority's security

requirement

10) Track and resolve network related incidents and requested within Service Level Agreement (SLA)

11) Prepare documentation on the Network Architecture Design and

l2) Maintain the IP address listing for production and non-production environment.

Skills Requirement

1) Recognized degree/diploma or equivalent in Information Technology/ Engineering or related discipline

with at least 4 years relevant experience in system & network administration

2) Good written and verbal communication skills

3) Able to work well both independently and in a team

4) Possess a strong interest and self-motivation to install, configure and maintain system/network services,

equipment and devices, provide system/network support and request, investigate, troubleshoot issues

and provide resolution, i.e. including managing user accounts and access

5) Competent and having a sound knowledge (Configure and troubleshoot) of various network protocols

and topologies, including a broad knowledge of WLAN, switches, routers, servers, IPS/IDS and firewalls

6) Able to perform network monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, network

resources, systems and key processes, reivewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of

scheduled jobs such as backups, and related administration tasks

7) Able to administer anti-virus, anti-spam and network security system, i.e. Firewalls, TDA and NAC

8) Experience with implementing the network devices hardening requirements

9 ) Relevant experience in monitoring and reviewing performance of network and ability to perform

capacity planning

10) Good communication skills and

11) Ability to work with minimal supervision under tight schedules.

l2) Certifications in CCNA and or CCNP would be beneficial

13) The candidate shall adhere to the Authority work arrangement to work in office and/or work from

home. The Authority has the sole discretion to make the arrangement.
