- The Staff Engineer, Enterprise Infrastructure, plays a key leadership role in designing, operating, and optimizing global IT infrastructure services across the organization.

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Operations & Support
- Deliver end to end operational support for global and local IT infrastructure, ensuring SLAs are consistently met and exceeded.
- Perform in depth analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of infrastructure issues, providing sound technical recommendations aligned with standard architecture and capabilities.
- Maintain continuous availability of enterprise systems by managing incidents, major outages, and daily operational demands (Keep the Lights On).
Infrastructure Engineering & Projects
- Lead and implement IT infrastructure projects and enhancements, ensuring delivery within agreed time, budget, and quality parameters.
- Translate business requirements into infrastructure solutions, deliver value added designs and improvements with strong documentation and governance alignment.
- Provide architectural, functional, and technical design documentation, including test scenarios, issue logs, RCA reports, and compliance artefacts (SOX, ITGC).
- Drive adoption of new and emerging technologies that enhance system performance, reduce costs, and strengthen competitive advantage.
Technology Expertise & Leadership
- Bring strong hands on expertise across Virtualization, Microsoft technologies on prem, Azure, Microsoft 365, Enterprise storage, and systems management platforms.
- Provide deep functional knowledge to support modern IT initiatives, cloud migrations, security projects, and enterprise modernization efforts.
- Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert, mentoring team members and guiding best practices across infrastructure teams.
Governance, Compliance & Audit
- Ensure global compliance with software licenses, SOX requirements, and internal audit standards, maintaining proper documentation and operational discipline.
- Support IT asset management, vulnerability remediation, OS hardening, and adherence to security policies and standards.
Vendor & Financial Management
- Manage vendors and service providers to deliver infrastructure solutions and global system projects aligned with business goals.
- Lead CAPEX and OPEX planning, as well as financial management for infrastructure systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Typically 10 or more years of experience supporting IT infrastructure in a global multinational corporation, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Experience in Azure IaaS/PaaS operations, migrations, and management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Modern Authentication, Entra, and Exchange Online.
- Extensive experience in Windows platforms, VMware virtualization, multi forest AD, GPO, AD DR, SCCM, Intune, and WSUS operations.
- Strong background in enterprise storage (NetApp, Nimble), SAN switches, Cisco Intersight, monitoring systems (e.g., OpManager), and backup/restore tools (Veeam/IBM TSM).
- Knowledge of SPF, DMARC, transport rules, OS hardening, vulnerability management, EDR tools, and security project implementation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Resourceful, tactful, and able to lead with a strong can-do mindset.
- Strong team player with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Experience in IT asset management systems and software license governance.
- Strong analytical, business process, and functional understanding (e.g., semiconductor operations).
- Effective project management skills SCRUM certified preferred.
