We are looking for a hands‑on, people‑oriented IT Infrastructure & Helpdesk Engineer to join a close‑knit IT Infrastructure team of six. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting end users, thrives in a fast‑paced SME environment, and demonstrates a humble, proactive, and service‑first attitude.
The role with periodic travel to upcoming new centers in the nearby location to support end users, infrastructure setup, and ongoing IT operations.
IT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
- Perform daily management of IP network and IT infrastructure, including operations, administration, monitoring, and backup.
- Implement, configure, and maintain Microsoft cloud and SaaS services, including:
- Azure AD / AAD Connect
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Exchange Online
- Intune / Endpoint Management
- Teams
- Azure Information Protection (AIP), ATP, ASR, CAS, EM+S
- Manage Fortinet Firewall and Fortinet VPN; knowledge of Fortinet Secure SD‑WAN is preferred.
End‑User Computing & Helpdesk Support
- Provide first‑level (L1/L2) IT support to end users across HQ and centres:
- PCs / laptops
- Mobile devices
- Web applications
- Microsoft 365 and endpoint issues
- Deliver people‑oriented, patient, and empathetic support, especially for non‑technical users.
- Support end users in a fast‑paced, in‑house helpdesk environment (outsourced support background alone is less preferred).
User Administration, Security & Audit Support
- Assist with user account administration and access matrices, especially during onboarding and offboarding.
- Adhere to security requirements and report security incidents or risks promptly.
- Provide IT audit support, including:
- Tracking IT assets movement
- Monitoring creation/deletion of user accounts on external systems
- Assist with procurement, evaluation, and implementation of IT products and services.
- Support the setup of new Centres by:
- Scoping IT network and end‑user requirements
- Supporting procurement through to on‑site implementation
- Support post‑implementation issue resolution for IT projects.
- Handle IT administrative tasks such as:
- Maintenance contract renewals
- Licensing management
- User folder access
- IT fixed asset issuance and tracking
Required Skills/Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in:
- IT infrastructure administration (on‑prem and/or cloud)
- In‑house helpdesk / endpoint support (L1/L2)
- Strong hands‑on troubleshooting experience in endpoint and user issues
- Experience in SME environments with limited layers and high ownership
- Exposure to healthcare, community services, or similar regulated environments
- ITIL and/or Cybersecurity certifications (advantageous but not mandatory)
