We are looking for a hands‑on IT Engineer to support daily IT operations, end‑user computing, and core infrastructure systems.
This role suits someone who enjoys troubleshooting, basic system administration, and contributing to system improvements and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end‑user device support, including laptop provisioning, system imaging, driver configuration, and fault isolation for hardware and operating system issues.
- Install, configure, and support servers, workstations, and related systems
- Support and maintain server‑based applications (e.g. Apache, PHP, Windows Servers)
- Carry out basic Linux administration
- Perform network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, switches)
- Manage system configuration, deployments, enhancements, and integrations
- Work with vendors and partners to resolve technical issues
- Assist in IT infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and new technology implementation
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system configurations
Requirements
- Diploma in Information Technology or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, systems engineering, or a similar role
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Technical Skills
- Good working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
- Good understanding of wired and wireless networking, including routers, switches, LAN/WAN topologies, VLANs, and the TCP/IP protocol stack.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, batch files Python or Bash is an advantage)
- Structured approach to incident handling and documentation
