Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive IT support for network, hardware, software, and database systems.
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications, with a primary focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Flow Controls (MFC).
- Manage and maintain relational databases, specifically Oracle and SQL Server.
- Develop and maintain database scripts and procedures using PL-SQL and T-SQL.
- Utilize Object-Oriented programming languages (C#, JavaScript) and Microsoft Visual Studio for application support and minor enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical business applications.
- Participate in IT projects, from planning and deployment to post-implementation support.
- Provide on-call standby support and work overtime as required to support project deadlines and operational needs in a project-based environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Proven experience working with software applications, specifically Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Flow Controls (MFC).
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in database programming using PL-SQL and T-SQL.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented languages, including C# and JavaScript.
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Solid experience and understanding of IT networks, hardware, software, and database administration.
- Ability and willingness to be on standby call and work overtime when required to support our project-based operational environment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
