Job Description
Act as the first point of contact for local system and application issues perform initial analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Escalate unresolved issues to the Taiwan IT team and coordinate follow-up actions as needed.
Develop, enhance, and maintain local reporting systems based on business and operational requirements.
Gather, clarify, and confirm system and reporting requirements from local users.
Perform basic system testing and validation to ensure solution quality before release.
Assist in preparing simple system documentation or user guidance when required.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in system development, application support, or related roles.
Possess a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or related disciplines.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese to support communication with Taiwan and regional stakeholders.
Skillsets Required
. Server and website administration and maintenance.
. IT infrastructure and equipment environment setup.
. Installation and maintenance of network security systems.
. Network system configuration.
. Computer hardware maintenance.
. Basic operating system operations.
. Network equipment installation and configuration.
. Firewall planning and management (Added advantage)
. System architecture planning and maintenance (Added advantage)
Other Requirements
. Minimum 5 years of experience in computer hardware and network maintenance.
. Ability to plan IT and network infrastructure and troubleshoot network issues.
. Familiar with operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux/Unix. (Experience in Linux/Unix is preferred)
. Familiar with TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, and IP Address management.
