Systems / IT Engineer
Location: Singapore
Education / Experience
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform IT System Day-2 operations, including fault isolation, troubleshooting, and incident management.
- Assist in testing activities, including diagnosing system or application defects and providing remediation or workarounds.
- Ensure timely, clear, and concise communication across all stakeholders.
- Understand procurement processes and manage COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) software, including support renewals.
- Liaise with customers and vendors to drive issue resolution and ensure service continuity.
- Review existing customer workflows or system functionalities, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
- Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and engineering support activities to meet project SLAs.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers and vendors effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas and technical solutions to management and business stakeholders.
- Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas is an advantage: Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
