The Director of IT will lead Lakeside Family Services (LFS) digital transformation in alignment with the NCSS TSS objectives of driving productivity improvements and service effectiveness, through technology and data. This role will ensure that IT and data initiatives deliver measurable outcomes, support evidence-based programme development, and enable staff to focus on higher-value client and community work.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management for Integrated Data Management System (IDMS):
- Project Lead for NCSS TSS initiatives, including grant application support, implementation oversight, progress and outcome reporting
- Liaise with NCSS project officers
- Vendors Management for the IDMS
- Coordinate requirements gathering for business analysis from all service and corporate departments
- Ensure project is completed on time, within scope, and aligned to approved grant deliverables
- Link technology initiatives to measurable productivity and service outcomes
- Coordinate implementation of LFS data strategy
- Develop change management communications plan and ensure people, processes and systems are in plan to ensure sustainability of IDMS and its related benefits post project implementation.
- Train a team of master users in each service area to post-system development to facilitate data analysis and decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in IT, Data Science or related field
- 10-12 years of experience in IT, data, or digital transformation
- Experience in AI adoption, data analytics, and digital transformation projects.
- Strong project management and change management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance compliance requirements with practical implementation
