about the company
We are transitioning from a generalist setup to a dedicated, high-performance IT and Data department. We are looking for an IT & Data Infrastructure Analyst (Python / SQL) to lead this evolution. You won't just be maintaining systems you will be reverse-engineering legacy financial structures, building SQL databases from the ground up, and automating complex workflows that bridge the gap between finance and technology.

about the job

• Design, implement, and manage end-to-end SQL databases from scratch. Perform deep-dive audits of existing data points (1,000+) to ensure data lineage and integrity.
• Identify pain points in financial workflows replace manual verification and data syncs with robust Python-based automation.
• Take ownership of our GCP environment, exploring data points and ensuring the database is implemented for maximum efficiency.
• Manage onsite hardware configuration, firewalls, and server setups. Ensure all configurations meet rigorous MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) regulatory standards.
• Act as the technical lead to establish SOPs for the new IT function, working closely with the finance team to understand and optimize their workflows.

skills and experience required
1-3 years of experience in a role requiring coding, data analysis, or IT support. Candidates with a software/coding skillset who are willing to take on hardware scopes and vendor management are highly encouraged.

Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for development and automation.

High proficiency in Excel (understanding that certain current processes rely on it). Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Looker Studio, or equivalent data cleansing/visualization tools.

Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with both technical vendors and non-technical business/investment staff (including the COO and PMs in Singapore and Japan).
