IT Cybersecurity Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and deliver key cybersecurity and data protection initiatives across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mix of project delivery experience, technical cybersecurity knowledge, and stakeholder management skills. You will play a key role in driving projects such as Data Classification, Data Labelling, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), SIEM implementation, and data discovery initiatives, while working closely with internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Project Delivery

Lead and support cybersecurity and data protection projects, including:

1. Data Classification and Data Labelling rollout
2. Data Loss Prevention (DLP) implementation and tuning
3. SIEM implementation, migration, or optimisation
4. Data discovery and inventory initiatives
5. Manage project timelines, scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and reporting.
6. Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Technical Implementation:

1. Support the configuration, integration, and deployment of cybersecurity solutions such as DLP, SIEM, and cloud security tools.
2. Translate security and privacy requirements into technical controls and implementation designs.
3. Perform validation, testing, and tuning of security solutions.
4. Support dashboards, reporting, and automation initiatives where required.

Security and Privacy Integration:

1. Work closely with Cyber Assurance teams to implement controls arising from DPIAs, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
2. Support Privacy-by-Design implementation across systems and platforms.
3. Assist with data flow mapping, classification, and protection of sensitive data.

Stakeholder and Vendor Management:

1. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams to onboard systems into security platforms.
2. Coordinate with external vendors, system integrators, and managed security service providers.
3. Provide management with regular updates on project progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.

Continuous Improvement:

1. Identify opportunities to improve cybersecurity capabilities, tooling, and implementation standards.
2. Support proof-of-concepts for new security technologies.
3. Contribute to enhancing operational processes, SOPs, and implementation standards.

Requirements:

1. 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure security, or cybersecurity project delivery.
2. Proven experience delivering cybersecurity or data protection projects such as DLP, SIEM, IAM, or cloud security.
3. Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Technical Skills:

1. Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
2. SIEM / Security Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar
3. Data Loss Prevention / Data Classification tools
4. Cloud security, preferably AWS
5. Strong understanding of network, system, and cloud architecture.
6. Good knowledge of security concepts such as least privilege, encryption, and data protection.
7. Ability to translate business and security requirements into technical implementation plans.

Knowledge:

1. Familiarity with Singapore regulations such as PDPA and Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCoP).
2. Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.

Preferred Certifications:

1. PMP
2. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
3. AWS Certified Security - Specialty
4. CCSK
5. CDPSE or CIPP/A

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
