JOB DESCRIPTION
Cloud Related Operations and Engineering
- Practice and evolve modern practices as it applies to Public Cloud such as infra as code, immutable infra, blue / green deployments, CI/CD
- Ensure IT assets in Public cloud are secure and protected.
- Raise Change requests and adhere to Bank Change process
- Plan and execute cutovers as required
- Function as level 2/3 escalation point for any cloud related operational issues
Regulatory, Procedural, Domain Expertise
- Keep updated on required industry reading as it pertains to Technology in the financial services industry primarily MAS and ABS.
- IT Department SOP
- Bank Procurement Guidelines and SOP
- AWS Well architected framework and whitepapers
Other Responsibilities
- Participation in Stakeholder meetings;
- Participation in relevant IT Department meetings;
Requirements
- Minimum Degree or Diploma in Computer Science / Information Systems/ Engineering domain with hands-on experience
- Minimum 2 to 6 years of working experience in related field
- AWS certifications are highly desirable
- Positive attitude, a good team player & Willingness to learn new technologies
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- General awareness of programming best practices
- Be familiar with at least one IDE (such as Microsoft Visual Studio) and a quick learner
- Must have strong fundamental in python or yaml based programming language
