IT Auditor(Manager/ Senior Manager)

Our client is an engineering services company and they have a job opening for the IT Auditor(Manager/ Senior Manager) position

Responsibilities

1. Audit Leadership & Project Management

You will act as the Project Lead for the entire audit lifecycle. This involves:

• Developing risk-based audit plans and detailed programs.

• Leading both IT-specific and Integrated audits (where IT meets business operations).

• Managing timelines, quality standards, and external outsourced audit partners to ensure deadlines are met.

2. Strategic Reporting & Communication

A critical part of this role is translating complex technical gaps into business risks for senior leadership.

• Preparing reporting packages for the Group Audit Committee.

• Presenting findings at closing meetings and defending observations to high-level stakeholders.

• Ensuring recommendations are feasible and sound, meaning they actually work for the business.

3. Digital Transformation & Data Analytics

The role places a heavy emphasis on moving away from traditional manual auditing.

• Data Analytics: Using tools to analyze large datasets for better risk evaluation.

• Automation: Leading special projects to automate audit workflows and continuous monitoring.

• Developing and improving the organization's overall IT audit methodologies.

4. Mentorship & Team Development

• As a senior member of the team, you are responsible for the human element of the department.
• Providing on-the-job training and coaching to junior auditors.
• Promoting a collaborative environment by sharing best practices and knowledge learned from various engagements.
