Job Purpose:
Provide basic IT support within the organization, including setup and maintenance of PCs, monitors, and peripheral devices. Assist with simple troubleshooting to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up PCs, monitors, and related hardware for new and existing employees.
- Install and configure basic software as per company requirements.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting support for common IT issues, including printers, connectivity, and peripheral devices.
- Ensure proper cabling, workstation setup, and basic network connectivity.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist in equipment allocation.
- Escalate more complex IT issues to the IT Manager or external vendors when necessary.
- Support employees with basic IT-related questions and issues to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware setup and Windows operating system.
- Ability to perform simple troubleshooting for printers and peripheral devices.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to provide timely support.
- Diploma or relevant IT certification preferred, but not mandatory.
