You will play a crucial role in supporting the IT Manager and assisting with various IT-related tasks within the organization. This position requires a diligent and meticulous individual who can handle multiple responsibilities, troubleshoot technical issues, manage data entry, liaise with vendors and suppliers, and uphold strict data privacy standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the IT Manager: Assist the IT Manager in all IT-related tasks, projects, and initiatives within the organization.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Respond to technical issues reported by employees or outlets. Resolve problems remotely through Zoom or visit outlets for on-site troubleshooting when required.
- Data Entry and Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive record of all scenarios and cases, ensuring meticulous and accurate data entry for tracking purposes.
- Time and Task Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines and address urgent IT-related issues.
- Vendor and Third-Party Liaison: Interact with vendors, suppliers, or third parties for obtaining quotes, resolving issues, or coordinating relocations, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
- Data Privacy and Confidentiality: Take the protection of company data seriously and strictly adhere to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Obtain necessary approvals before sharing private or confidential information.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Adhere to established SOPs and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance in IT operations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance knowledge and skills required for the role.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with team members, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure smooth IT operations and effective problem resolution.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and provide regular updates to the IT Manager regarding ongoing projects, issues, and resolutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A diploma or degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience is a bonus.
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
