Job Description


IT Procurement Management

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop, implement, and continuously enhance procurement strategies, policies, and procedures for IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Sourcing & Acquisition: Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFP/RFI preparation, bid analysis, contract negotiations, and purchase execution.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the full contract lifecycle for IT purchases, including renewals, compliance checks, and risk assessments.
  • Budget Management: Partner with IT leadership and Finance to forecast and manage procurement budgets, monitor spending, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and potential suppliers to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Order Tracking: Raise PRs for the IT team and monitor order status, payments, and delivery timelines.

IT Asset Management

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Maintain accurate records of all IT assets (hardware and software) from acquisition to disposal, ensuring efficient deployment, usage tracking, and end-of-life processes.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular audits and reconciliation of physical and digital asset inventories. Manage asset tagging and tracking systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure all IT asset management activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and software licensing obligations.
  • Disposal & Refresh: Coordinate secure and environmentally responsible decommissioning/disposal of obsolete assets. Plan and manage asset refresh cycles.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Deliver timely reports and analytics on procurement activities, asset utilization, spending, and key KPIs to relevant stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in procurement and asset management workflows.
