IT Asset Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, licenses, and related contracts.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of IT assets to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with procurement, IT, and finance teams to optimize asset utilization and budgeting.
• Develop and enforce IT asset management policies and procedures.
• Monitor software license compliance and coordinate renewals or audits as needed.
• Support incident and problem management related to IT assets.
• Generate reports and provide insights on asset inventory, usage, and costs.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in asset management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT asset management or related roles.
• Familiarity with IT asset management tools and software (e.g., ServiceNow, Ivanti, Lansweeper).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of software licensing models and compliance requirements.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
