Act as the primary in-house IT contact for end users, providing prompt support and resolution for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
Liaise and coordinate with external IT vendors for quotations, procurement, service requests, annual software license renewals and technical support.
Manage IT inventory assets, including tracking, maintenance and disposal of obsolete equipment.
Coordinate onboarding of new staff by setting up PCs, laptops, user accounts and access through Active Directory administration.
Oversee daily monitoring of IT infrastructure, including server health and storage capability, and provide monthly overview of server storage space.
Create and manage Zoom meetings and other communication tools to support internal collaboration.
Support IT operations by ensuring smooth function and addressing operational IT issues, while escalating approvals and critical decisions to higher management as required.
Support occasional IT projects such as hardware upgrades or system migrations.
Requirements:
Diploma or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 1- 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or IT operations within an SME environment.
Proficient in user support, troubleshooting hardware / software / network issues, and IT Infrastructure monitoring.
Familiarity with Active Directory administration and user account management.
Experience liaising with vendors and handling IT procurement processes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to support end users and coordinate with management and vendors.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving IT needs in a growing company.
