Purpose of Role
The Investor Solutions Group (ISG) is a global team of c.20 professionals who are ultimately responsible for capital raising and managing ongoing relationships with our investors (Limited Partners - LPs). The team operates collaboratively and is broadly structured in to two areas.
The Client Solutions team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all marketing materials and investor communications. The team drives fundraising content, partnering with firm-wide stakeholders to develop best-inclass materials. The team creates fundraising materials (DDQs, PPMs, marketing collateral, etc), responds to investor due diligence requests, and provides regular fund updates and qualitative responses to Actis LPs. The team prepares all presentations for our Annual Investor Meeting and Semi-Annual Updates. The teams also develops market insights with support from our in-house Macro research team
The Sales/Coverage team is primarily responsible for fundraising, generating new LP relationships and widening and deepening existing relations across the world. Our LPs are predominantly institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds, public pensions, endowments, foundations, trusts, and family offices. The sales team actively markets and nurtures relationships through providing relevant insight, thought leadership and investment solutions.
ISG works with Actis all areas of the business to provided required information to its investors through both investment and operational due diligence (IDD). They work closely with investment teams based in Actis target markets, operations functions including compliance, legal, HR, and Actis finance and funds services teams based in Delhi.
This opportunity will support the ISG team in a wide variety of activities and provide an exceptional learning opportunity to develop their skills in fund raising, investor relations and develop knowledge across the assets and geographies in which Actis invests.
Main Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)
Support the preparation and ongoing support for Actis fundraises and separate co-investment opportunities
(materials preparation, coordination with investment team).
Leading the delivery and oversight of DDQ responses for Actis current ongoing fundraises.
Oversee the delivery of insightful market, fund and portfolio company data and analysis to existing investors,
principally via fund update presentations but also to explore the use of webinars, conference calls etc.
Co-ordinating and delivering prompt responses to all existing investor queries
Delivering high quality annual meetings / semi-annual LP updates
Preparation of market / portfolio analysis necessary to enhance the development and management of investor
relationships
Support senior leadership on business development activities including a wide array of special projects
Participating in regular fund updates in person or via conference calls
Support, coach and mentor analysts and associates within the team.

Knowledge
The individual will likely have at least 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in an investor facing client
function.
Ability to evaluate financial data and synthesize into well written marketing collateral.
Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
Strong relationship building skills.
Have a strong work ethic and an eye for detail.
Someone with a high level of motivation, integrity, energy and enthusiasm, who can also work proactively and
autonomously to deliver successfully within short time-frames is crucial.
An ability to communicate and present in an articulate manner and logically.
