Job Description

  • This position is forOffice of Integrated Information Technology Services (IITS).
  • Spearhead the technical administration and operational support as well as continuous improvement of enterprise applications such as PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Electronic Document Management System, and OutSystems.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, apply patches/upgrades, and ensure high availability.
  • Ensure application security and performance through regular assessments and remediation using tools such as HP WebInspect, HP Fortify, Web Application Firewall and LoadRunner, in alignment with IT security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven solutions through system implementation and enhancement initiatives.
  • Manage vendor engagements and oversee the lifecycle of outsourced IT projects, including requirements definition, procurement support, solution evaluation, and implementation oversight.
  • Lead and coordinate user testing and training activities to ensure high adoption and readiness for new system functionalities.
  • Maintain and continuously improve system documentation and knowledge base in line with project and organizational standards.
  • Gather user feedback and usage data post-deployment to identify opportunities for enhancements and optimize user experience.
  • Support the planning and delivery of systems with infrastructure and integration dependencies, ensuring minimal disruption and high performance.
  • Assess emerging tools and technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance productivity, security, or scalability.
  • Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and digital master plan alignment to better support institutional goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, including installation, administration, upgrades, and strong knowledge of its application and security architecture.
  • Security-related certifications such as CEH or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Proficient in using application security tools (e.g. HP WebInspect, HP Fortify, Burp Suite) and performance testing tools (e.g. LoadRunner).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Familiarity with administration of enterprise platforms such as Documentum and OutSystems is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and structured project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for working with both technical teams and business users.
