Please note that this is a yearly renewable contract position.
Engineer's Responsibilities
- Process Monitoring: Ensure manufacturing processes comply with defined SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- In-Process Inspections: Conduct routine inspections at critical points in production to detect defects early.
- Defect Prevention: Identify potential quality issues and implement preventive measures to reduce defect occurence.
- Data Recording & Reporting: Document inspection results, process deviations, and defect trends accurately.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, line leaders, and engineers to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Corrective & Prevention Actions (CAPA): Assist in root cause analysis and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to company quality standards and support internal/external audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and process effciency.
Requirements:
- Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to details and consistency in inspection practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
