IoT and Backend Software Developer

Mission:

Contribute to the Hutchinson Data Services program and play a key role in designing, building, and deploying scalable data solutions that power real world applications. You will work at the forefront of Industrial IoT and analytics, transforming complex data into actionable insights. Collaborating with a dynamic and growing international team, you will help deliver robust, production-ready solutions, unlock new business opportunities, and create tangible business value for customers.

Responsibilities:

. Design, develop, and deploy commercial data services solutions in the field of predictive maintenance and industrial IoT.

. Coordinate with business, product, and data science teams to translate business needs into scalable, production-ready data solutions that create tangible value and new business opportunities.

. Coordinate research and development work with research institutes and external collaborators

. Actively communicate project progress, outcomes, and value delivered to stakeholders

. Document work processes and outcomes to facilitate knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

. Master or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

. Min.2 years of relevant working experience in Software Development or Engineering

. Strong foundation in software design principles, with the ability to build scalable, maintainable and reusable systems.

. Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Nodejs.

. Solid experience in designing, developing and maintaining RESTful APIs

. Familiarity with cloud platforms and backend technologies

. Experience in commercial IoT systems, particularly edge/gateway and cloud integration is a plus

. Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
