iOS Software Engineer - Global Payment - Singapore

About Global PaymentThe Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

Our Web and Client team in Global Payment is committed to building a highly integrated payment product that can be easily connected to the Web, App, cross-platform and other forms of Global Payment capabilities. In addition, we provide efficient and comprehensive services to Developers, Merchants and others through a series of platforms.

Responsibilities

1. Build modular, reusable components and features

2. Focus on rendering performance in order to ensure superior experience for a heavy interaction platform

3. Continuously work to bolster mobile design and implementation processes in order to improve quality and efficiency

4. Code optimization to improve scalability, reliability, security and performance of mobile applications

5. Collaborate with product design, product management and software engineering teams to deliver best in class user experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

1. BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors with experience in native iOS development.

2. Proficient in Objective-C or Swift on iOS

3. Strong ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.

4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualification:

1. Minimum 5 years relevant work experience from a large-scale internet business.

2. Payment knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
