Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer with at least 6+ years of native iOS engineering experience to join our team delivering high-performance, secure mobile applications for DBS Bank. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of architecting, developing, and releasing enterprise-scale mobile banking or financial services applications. You will be responsible for building robust iOS solutions, ensuring strict compliance with financial security standards, and driving smooth digital banking experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable native iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.

• Banking Integrations: Integrate secure RESTful APIs, microservices, payment gateways, and core banking backends into the iOS mobile layer.

• Security & Compliance: Implement mobile app security best practices, including SSL/TLS certificate pinning, data encryption at rest/in transit, Keychain/Secure Enclave storage, and biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID).

• Authentication & Authorization: Develop multi-factor authentication (MFA), OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, and transaction signing protocols tailored for banking security.

• Quality & Performance: Utilize Apple Instruments for memory leak detection, CPU/battery profiling, and performance tuning. Ensure compliance with strict app responsiveness standards.

• Code Reviews & Mentorship: Enforce clean architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Swift), conduct thorough peer code reviews, and guide junior developers on engineering standards.

• CI/CD & Release Management: Manage end-to-end deployment workflows, automated CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and App Store distribution processes.

Mandatory Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in native iOS application development.

• Domain Expertise:Must have prior hands-on experience in the Banking or Financial Services (FinTech) industry, working on features such as transfers, payments, card management, or account security.

• Core Tech Stack: Exceptional proficiency in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and Core Data / Realm.

• Security Standards: Hands-on experience with mobile threat detection integration (e.g., vKey, Zimperium, or OWASP MASVS compliance).

• API & Networking: Strong understanding of async/await, URLSession, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and websockets.

• Architectural Mastery: In-depth knowledge of design patterns (MVVM-C, VIPER, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection).

• Testing & Tools: Proficiency with XCTest, XCUITest, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
